Former Senate President and former governor of Kwara state, Bukola Saraki has left the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) office and returned to his Abuja residence, Nigeriancablenewsonline.com has gathered.
Nigerian Cable news online reported how Saraki was held in the Anti-graft Agency’s Abuja office from 2:00pm till late this night, after attending a social event in the Nation’s capital city.
EFCC, It was gathered invited Saraki for questioning.
Saraki confirmed this when Journalists spoke to him a few minutes ago, saying there was no big deal in honouring an invitation by an institution of the state.
“‘They asked to see me and after attending a wedding reception, I drove there myself. And when they were satisfied, they said I could go. That’s it.”
