The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar says he was not invited to the national peace accord sigining for the 2019 elections.
The event was organized by the National Peace Committee, held at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, on Tuesday.
However, the organizers affirmed that invitation was sent to all 73 presidential candidates contesting the 2019 elections.
President Muhammadu Buhari seeking reelection under the All Progressive’s Congress was present but a host of other contenders like Atiku (PDP), Donald Duke of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Kingsley Moghalu of Young Progressives Party (YPP), Oby Ezekwesili of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) and Omoyele Sowore of African Action Congress (AAC) were absent at the programme.
