Ondo 2020: Why I’m sure of victory over Akeredolu, others – Kekemeke

An aspirant for the office of the Governor of Ondo State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the upcoming election, Hon. Isaac Kekemeke says he is confident about winning his Party’s ticket and emerging as the next governor because of his rare understanding of the Party Politics, the Problems of the people and their solutions.

He stated this during an interactive session with online media practitioners in the state, held on Thursday in Akure.

The independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced the 10th of October, 2020 for Governorship Election in Ondo state.

Kekemeke noted that he has garnered the highest and most useful level of experience among the APC governorship aspirants, haven lived within the state in the last 29 years.

According to him, since the lunching of the lekeleke Political brand on the 12th of February, he has held over 4,000 town hall meetings with stakeholders at different levels across the 18 Local government areas of the state, and have met over 1,000 selected indigenes and residents of the state.

Kekemeke said the media parley became imperative in order to inform the public about what his campaign office has been doing.

On his plans for the state, he said he is contesting because the ondo state government has lost touch with the people, and that his brand is coming to salvage the situation, make governance visible to the people and bring government back to its primary responsibity.

“My Vision is a prosperous state, My Mission is to use science and technology to create wealth in our dear state. Our aim is to make government seeable and touchable, we shall use government power to unlish war on unemployment, insecurity, hunger and rescue our decaying infrastructure.”

“As part of our Development goals, we shall reintroduce free and compulsory primary and secondary education in the state. Under our leadership, it shall be a crime for parents to keep children of school age out of school. We shall dismantle the mega school concept and make schooling become more accessible”

“We shall revive the technical schools, train our people in different skills and create skill-based markets. We shall run a highly subsidised tertiary education in the state and reintroduce scholarships for our indegines schooling outside the state. There shall be loan facilities for the indigent and no student of ondo state origine shall drop out of school bacause of inability to pay tuition fees.”

“We shall digitalize healthcare and immedialtely employ 203 health workers at the basic health centers to cater for rural healthcare.”

“On agric, we shall introduce civil farming and invest heavily in commercial farming to boost our state economy and revenue.” he added.

Kekemeke said he will revisit tourism in ondo state with massive infrastructure and attract visitors from all over the world.
