The Honourable member representing Ilaje Constituency (ii) in the Ondo state house of Assembly, Hon. Favour Semilore Tomomewo has reacted to a notice of expulsion issued by members of her Party executives in Mahin ward (iv) of Ilaje Local government, declaring her expelled from the Party.
Nigeriancablenewsonline.com reported how two ward excos of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mahin ward (iv) signed a letter addressed to the state Party chairman, declaring tomomewo’s eviction from the Party over alleged anti-Party Activities.
The honourable in a statement Personally signed and sent to Nigerian cable news online however described the expulsion as “A rumour of unexplainable magnitude”
“I have been restrained by many natural and non natural causes not to react to some gullible minded persons that are been brainwashed and used as tools of destruction to concoct one letter or the other. One of such is the purported expulsion rumour circulating on the social media platforms that; I, HON TOMOMEWO SEMILORE FAVOUR, has been expelled from the APC at my ward level.”
“I make bold to tell all and sundry that I remain a bonafide member of the APC since such alleged expulsion letter has neither been transmitted to me nor received by me.”
“I therefore appeal to all right thinking citizens of Ilaje local Government and Ondo State in general to disregard this rumour as it is just a threat that deserves no attention.” She added.
