A lawyer and pro-democracy activist, Tunji Abayomi has posited that President Muhammadu Buhari can discharge official duties from home.
The President who just resumed work yesterday, August 21 after a medical vacation that took him over three months, was announced by the Special Adviser on New Media, Ahmad Bashir that he would be working from his residence in the meantime.
The media aide had earlier said: “Some renovations are ongoing at the office.
He’s a fully equipped office in his residence, he’ll be back to the main office after the works”
While Tunji Abayomi spoke with journalists this morning, he noted that the provisions of the constitution allows President Buhari to work from anywhere as long he can discharge his duties effectively.
“It doesn’t matter where the President works from, he can work from anywhere”.
“Buhari can work from the toilet”, the lawyer affirmed
