The new acting Chief Justice, Ibrahim Muhammad has sworn in 250 judges as members of the 2019 Election Petition tribunal, Nigerian Cable News online can report.
This is his first official assignment since he took over from Walter Onnoghen who was suspended over allegation of false declaration of assets.
Muhammad told members of the panel to discharge their duties diligently.
He said the judiciary is experiencing trying times, urging them to stand up to protect it.
Muhammad was sworn in on Friday by President Buhari after the suspension of Justice onnoghen
