The former majority leader of the Ondo state house of Assembly, Hon. Gbenga Araoyinbo has declared his intention to run for the Senate sit in Ondo North Senatorial District in the 2023 General elections.
He stated this while receiving prominent youth leaders across the six local Government in the district in a meeting facilitated by Ogunjobi Odunayo, Ijanusi Olawale (Optimum) and Femi Oyewole.
Araoyinbo, who is from Irun Akoko in Akoko north west local Government also promised to rescue the district from the unproductive representation it has been plunged into for over 8 years.
He added that it’s time for the youth to change the narrative of Ondo north senatorial district. He further said he has lots of plan for Educated people and non Educated people including Artisan in the Senatorial district.
He also commended the Senator representing Ondo central for his ‘Excellently Performance’.
Araoyinbo promise to perform better if elected as he believes he is rich in experience as regards legislative matters. He also lamented on the poor facilities that is given to the ODHA members most especially when he was the majority leader as no constituency allowance was disbursed by the Governor of the state to any members.
Ogunjobi Odunayo and Ijanusi Olawale (Optimum) who spoke on behalf of the youths pledged their readiness to work in order to actualize this dream.
Araoyinbo is yet to declare publicly, the platform on which he is going to run.
