The Ondo state Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the expulsion of two governorship aspirants in the 2020 election in the state, who ran on its platform.
The duo, Mrs. Jumoke Anifowose-Ajasin and Dr. Nath Adojutelegan were Expelled over anti-party activities.
According to the Party’s state Publicity secretary, Mr. Alex Kalejaye, the decision taken after considering the report of a fact finding committee set up by the state working committee in line with Article 21 of the Party Constitution.
Addressing a news conference in Akure on Friday, Mr. Kalejaye said the wards of both Mrs. Anifowoshe and Dr. Adojutelegan had also suspended the two of them.
Mr. Kalejaye added that the Party state executive took the decision to expel the two leaders at it’s meeting held on Thursday, after considering the report of a fact finding committee set up to investigate allegations of anti-party activities against them.
