BREAKING: CJ Onnoghen Absent As CCT Commences Sitting

Justice Walter Onnoghen, the chief justice of Nigeria (CJN), is yet to appear at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), as it commenced sitting at 10am on Monday.

40 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) led by Mr. Wole Olanipekun and 47 Other lawyers are in the court to defend the CJN.

The tribunal had summoned him following a petition submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) by a civil society group identified as the Anti-Corruption and Research Based Data Initiative (ARDI).
